PSO Donates another Rs. 10 million in IDPs Relief Fund

Realizing the national responsibility towards the displaced people from Swat and Malakand divisions of NWFP, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has announced a donation of Rs 10 million for humanitarian relief to IDPs. The contribution is being donated in Prime Minister Special Fund. PSO employees donated their one day salary for this noble cause.

Mr. Irfan Qureshi, Managing Director PSO said “as a responsible corporate citizen we will discharge our duty in the best possible way, as it is a moral obligation to help IDPs in this hour of need.

As a conscientious corporate citizen PSO is helping the society from three major platforms. They are education, health care and community building which entails activities for women empowerment, children welfare and relief efforts during and after natural calamities. Within these three major platforms, the company carries out various activities that bring about a value proposition to all parties concerned.
