Citibank, PSO creating enhanced value
 

KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil, the country’s largest oil marketing company, and Citibank, a member of Citigroup, have reinforced their joint commitment to offer customers enhanced value-added benefits.

At a ceremony held at PSO House on Friday, April 7, 2006, the two corporate leaders renewed their agreement for offering 0% surcharge on the acquiring side. Ahmed Khizer Khan, Citibank Country Business Manager, and Jalees A. Siddiqi, Managing Director & CEO, PSO, signed for their organizations.

PSO will be issuing PSO Loyalty cards to Citibank’s credit card customers, who will get enhanced reward points on using their credit cards at participating PSO outlets along with earning points on their PSO Loyalty Card.

In addition, Citibank will provide its customers the ability to instantly redeem their accumulated reward points against free fuel at participating PSO outlets.

Jalees A. Siddiqi, speaking on the occasion, observed that PSO was the first OMC that had offered 0% surcharge to its valued credit card customers. “This deal will benefit the end-user and be a great platform for both companies to extend mutual benefits to their customers.”

Commenting on the alliance, Ahmed Khizer Khan said: "This is another opportunity for Citibank to reach out to its customers and offer them the best solutions in financial services. We will continue rewarding loyal customers with unmatched benefits and privileges that they can enjoy when using Citibank credit cards.”
