Twenty senior officers of BPS-19 from the Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Council (SUPARCO), undergoing an Advanced Management Course at NIPA, visited PSO House on September 1, 2005, to learn from the blue chip company’s experience as a role model in the public sector.
Managing Director & CEO Jalees Ahmed Siddiqi gave the officers a presentation on "Change Management" and shared salient features of the PSO experience.

     Vaqar Ahmad Khan, General Manager, Training & Organizational Development, in his presentation, dwelt upon the company’s Vision, Mission Statement, Values, history and corporate governance.

     Shahzad Manzoor, General Manager, Health, Safety & Environment/ Quality Assurance & Security Services, gave a presentation on HSE/ quality assurance activities and explained the precedence and edge that PSO has over its competitors in the oil marketing industry.

     Tariq Shehzad, Senior Executive, Retail Construction, gave a presentation on the construction of New Vision Retail Outlets.

     Another delegation from NIPA comprising 25 senior officers of BPS-19 belonging to the federal and provincial governments, autonomous bodies and public corporations attending an Advanced Course in Public Sector Management visited PSO House on October 18, 2005.

     Four presentations were delivered to cover the entire spectrum of PSO activities and services.

     GM T&OD spoke on the company’s Vision, Mission Statement, Values, history and corporate governance.

     Kalim A. Siddiqui, Executive Director, Customer Services, gave a presentation on Customer Services/Marketing activities.

     Yacoob Suttar, Executive Director, Finance & Information Technology, gave a detailed overview of the organization’s financial achievements and SAP implementation.

     Jalees Ahmed Siddiqi, Managing Director & CEO, met the group and had a discussion on PSO’s transformation.
