| PSO team won OMCs triangular championship 2010 |

In the recent Oil Marketing Companies Triangular Championship 2010, PSO team won the final match against Total Parco at Lahore. This match was witnessed by Chief Executive Officer Total Parco Mr. Marc Soissong and DGM IC PSO Mr. Ibad Ali Shah along with other senior officials of PSO and Total Parco.
PSO winning the toss asked opponents (Total Parco) to bat first. They ended up with 179 runs in allotted 25 over with a loss of eight wickets. Hasnain Qayyum (Captain Total Parco) scored 52 runs and from PSO Ejaz Baloch was the leading wicket taker with three wickets. Captain Tahir Malik from Retail and Rashid from aviation took one wicket each.
PSO started with Ayaz Baloch 41 and Ejaz Baloch 40 runs. In Middle order, Captain Tahir Malik scored of 36 to take away the match from Total Parco completely. PSO ended up chasing the total with five wickets in hand and two over remaining.
Winner trophy was presented by Mr. Marc Soissong (CEO Total Parco) to Captain PSO, Tahir Malik. A runner up trophy was presented by Mr. Ibad Ali shah (DGM IC PSO) to Captain Total Parco Mr. Hasnain Qayyum. At the end, souvenirs were distributed among entire PSO cricket team members and officials.
Earlier in the league matches, PSO won a match over SPL by eight wickets to qualify for the finals thereby becoming the undisputed champions of OMC Championship 2010. |
