PSO Cricket team started 2010 on a great winning note by defeating a very strong Weatherford Cricket Team by three Wickets.
Weatherford after winning the toss elected to bat first and had a great start until PSO bowlers got hold of the situation. Some excellent bowling by Masab and former First class cricketer Col. Fazle Abbas brought PSO back into the game. At one stage total was 80 runs for one wicket but some great bowling all the PSO bowlers got Weatherford all out for 118.
Masab took four while Col. Fazle Abbas took three wickets. Fabian and Azam Farooqi took two and one wicket apiece. PSO in reply scored the winning runs for the loss of seven wickets. Col Fazle Abbas and Kashif scored 24 runs each. Skipper Khawaja Amer led the team in a very professional and disciplined manner and all team members contributed in this winning. |
