| Agreement between PSO and Sambu Construction |
|
Pakistan State Oil and Sambu Construction Company Limited, a Korean company, signed an agreement on January 13, 2010 at Mirpur Azad Kashmir for supply of High Speed Diesel (HSD) /Lubricants for the construction of 84 MW New Bong Hydro Electric Power Project.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Nadeem Afridi, Business Manager Consumer Business Islamabad, on behalf of PSO and Mr. Shin Seong Bok, Project Manager from Sambu Construction Company Limited.
According to this agreement, PSO will facilitate Sambu Construction Company Limited for supplying POL products proficiently at their site for the construction of the project. This Project has the distinction of being the first independent hydropower producer (IPP) in Pakistan. Completion of project is expected by 2013.
PSO has extended full support to Sambu Construction Company Limited in meeting their POL needs effectively. Mr. Shin Seong Bok thanked PSO officials who took personal interest in this project. |
