Corporate Communication Department has been certified for ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.

ISO 9001:2008 allows a department or organization flexibility in the way it chooses to document its quality management system (QMS). This enables each individual organization to develop the minimum amount of documentation needed in order to demonstrate the effective planning, operation and control of its processes and the implementation and continual improvement of the effectiveness of its QMS. ISO 9001 requires a ‘Documented Quality Management System’, and not just a system of documents.

Pakistan State Oil has been on a mission to implement ISO standards across the organization, a number of departments along with the Corporate Communications department have received ISO certification.

Chemicals, Supply, Gaseous Fuels and Exports are in process of being certified.
