HSE Day was celebrated at Lubricants Manufacturing Terminal (LMT), Sihala and Tarujabba installations to inculcate HSE culture and awareness among PSO employees.

The ceremony provided a common platform for sharing views regarding HSE improvement with business partners of PSO.

The program started with awareness related to Diabetics by Consultant Diabotologist Dow University of Health Sciences Dr. Fareedudin. His team also organized a medical camp to check the sugar level of the employees.

During this program Mansoor Shahid, Plant Manager LMT Izhar Ahmed, Azam Farooqui, Manager HSE Atif Hasan, Executive HSE Karamullah Sheikh, and Commandant from Civil Defense Training Institute Sarfaraz Hussain Jaffery highlighted the efforts done to comply to HSE standards and the initiatives taken to improve HSE performance of the facility.

General Manager Retail, Lubricants Sales and Agency Trade (LS&AT) Zulfiqar Jaffery, along with Deputy General Managers LS&AT Khawaja Amer and Ather Javed, Civil Defense team, HSE team and LMT management visited the stalls of leading HSE equipment suppliers (IDEA, Safety Solutions). Further, Tree Plantation in Green area of LMT was carried out by Zulfiqar Jaffery.

In the second session of HSE Day, DGM LMT and GM LS&AT presented Safety Vests to the HSE Wardens and Fire Fighting Team.

Later a mock fire drill was conducted in front of Gantry 2. Fire Fighting Team and HSE Wardens actively participated in the drill. Station Officer Fire Brigade Korangi along with his team responded swiftly and promptly to the emergency situation and reached the target within 5 minutes.

In the end, Souvenirs were distributed amongst the participants.
