Ever the years, gas has become a preferred energy source for consumers, mainly due to price competitiveness. Resultantly, CNG has become ‘The Fuel’ for the automotive sector and is slowly and gradually replacing conventional liquid fuels i.e. Petrol and Diesel.

PSO has taken the initiative by arranging Customer’s Safety Awareness campaigns at its CNG stations in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan and Karachi respectively wherein the PSO team interacts with the customers and provides them guidelines for safety precautions to be taken during CNG refueling and the installation and maintenance of CNG cylinders and kits. Several Giveaways were also distributed among PSO’s valued customers during these events.

PSO CNG stations are well equipped with the state of the art Gas leakage Detection systems which automatically shut off the gas supply on detection of leakages in the system; hence PSO CNG stations are the safest place for customers to refuel their vehicles. Furthermore, PSO CNG Quantity Measurement Unit also visits each CNG station in Karachi to monitor and review if the correct quantity is being delivered to customers or not. PSO also ensures that safety standards are maintained at CNG stations through regular HSE inspections.

PSO has taken this initiative as a socially responsible organization and in order to educate general public to follow safety requirements for proper and safe use of CNG fuel in their vehicles.
